It is currently the last day of reading week meaning I have lots of work and several midterms coming up. That being said, this update includes the following:
Moved a load of unfinished elements to a hidden page to work on later.
Added "Mini" for smaller projects that are less notable.
Set up a GitHub repository to redirect alexsung.xyz to www.alexsung.xyz. (This used to be a problem because the root domain lead to a blank page but it is fixed now.)
Added a favicon so that the tab shows a logo instead of the google sites icon.
Projects I recently did:
Rapid Networking NFC Tags
Marker Holder
I will likely put them into the Mini page for the time being. I plan to display my projects on one page and add tags to filter them by in the near future.
As for what I have been up to, I recently joined a project to design and build a robot arm on the mechanical team :D . This project will run for approximately 6 months and is being hosted by a chapter club under the Association of Korean Scientists and Engineers. To join this team, I had to interview for it and I have not had a lot of experience with interviews so it was quite fun preparing for it. Luckily my interviewer Vincent Hong is a very chill and cool guy to talk to.

Term 2 is in full swing and I named this page to just Blog after learning that the term 'Blog' is just shorthand for web-log. I redesigned my home page to reduce some redundant text and to clean up the look. I imagine that this page would be linked on my resumes and applications so they likely don't need a personal introduction that is already on my cover letter. I also edited the projects page to be more visually friendly rather than just a list of labels and titles. It makes the project page easier to browse any visually interesting items.
I also made these for math questions and thought it was pretty cool. \/

I added a resume page, footer, and a some APSC100 projects to my project page.
I am still not sure whether I want to keep the project list explicitly engineering projects or general projects that I have completed. If I can figure out how, maybe I can categorize the projects by tags so they can be searched via filter. I also thought about using subcategory pages so that the main project page would look like photo albums in a gallery but that seems a bit messy to navigate.
I still have yet to detail each of the projects in their respective pages. It feels like a rather tedious task but I will get around to it ;)
TL;DR: I don't know if I should make this portfolio exclusively engineering or just general. Also I need to stop procrastinating the project pages.
Extra: I renamed this page from Blog to (B)log because I noticed that the way that I type here sounds more like a journal entry of patch notes than blog posts.

Day one of this site. As of right now, this portfolio is hosted on google sites. I plan to learn HTML and CSS and set up a proper page on my own domain, but this will do for now.
I want this page to catalog most if not all of the projects I create, particularly in relation to engineering since that is what I care most about.
I also added the Photo Room to display some of the nice photos I take.
